Mission Statement
It is the mission of the Special
Education Department to provide all
students with disabilities a challenging
educational program designed to meet
their unique needs that results in
increased academic performance and
prepares them for employment and
independent living.
The stated vision of
the department will be fulfilled through
statewide leadership, advocacy,
assistance, and collaboration among
parents, educators, students,
communities and other agencies.
