2009 Educational Summer Services
Miami-Dade County Public Schools will offer a variety of educational programs at selected sites during the summer session scheduled for June 22 - July 24, 2009.  The summer services program, 2009 Educational Summer Services, is designed to assist students to meet academic grade level requirements.

Don't Want the Flu?  Here's What to Do.
In collaboration with the Miami-Dade County Health Department, M-DCPS has launched an influenza (FLU) prevention campaign entitled, "Don't want the FLU? Here is what to do!" aimed at distributing information about this illness.  Miami-Dade County Health Department is providing FREE Influenza (FLU) and Pneumococcal shots for children aged 6 months to 18 years. (To request an appointment, contact the Special Immunization Unit at 786-845-0550.)  In our school, HealthConnect will provide flu-prevention instruction.  Use the links below to access information about flu  prevention.

How to Create an Account on the M-DCPS Parent Portal
Before you can create a parent account for the M-DCPS Parent Portal you must have the following information:
  1. Your child's M-DCPS student ID number
  2. A Parent 6-digit PIN (Visit the main office to get you Parent PIN)
  3. Your child's date of birth
  4. Your child's state or country of birth
  5. Your child's Zip Code

Once you have the above information, go to Parents section on at Dadeschools.net and click on the 'Login to Portal' button.  Once there, click the green 'Create an Account' button to begin entering the required information.

It takes 24 hours after you are registered with the Parent Account Registration System to be able to change your initial password in the Password Management/P-Synch system.
